Dr. Sean Noonan serves as an Assistant Professor for the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Comprehensive Care. Within the Department, Dr. Noonan serves as the Director for Clinical Restorative Dentistry Course Series as well as Team Leader for clinical progression of approximately 40 dental students. Dr. Noonan also serves as a Global Liaison representing his department to the Associate Deans’ of Clinical Affairs and Curriculum.
In 2005, he graduated from University Of Maryland School Of Dentistry. He then served in the United States Air Force prior to accepting a part time position at the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Dental Medicine in 2009. He worked as Clinical Faculty for both the Department of Restorative Dentistry and the Center for Patients with Special Needs. In 2010, he accepted a full time position as an Assistant Professor as well as practicing one day a week at the University Dental Health Services faculty practice.
Outside of the dental school, he devotes time to coaching Little League Baseball as well as serving for the United States Air Force Reserves.
