Dr. Gordon Ott is an assistant professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry/Comprehensive Care.
Dr. Ott graduated from Wheaton College in 1988 and then entered dental school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, graduating in 1992. He entered private practice with his father and practiced there for 32 years. Dr. Ott joined the faculty of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2024.
Dr. Ott continued his education with the Pankey Institute and the Seattle Study Club. He has done dental mission work in Kazakhstan, China, Guatemala, and Pittsburgh. He is currently an instructor with Hiossen Dental Implants.
