David A Sullivan D.M.D., M.A.G.D.

Assistant Professor

Dr. David A. Sullivan is passionate about education and believes it to be a synergistic resource; both obtaining and giving.  He has completed over 3000 hours of education since obtaining his Doctorate and believes it to be important for continual improvement.  As an Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Comprehensive care, he deems it necessary to provide the best care available and facilitate the education of the future Dentists.  

He is very involved in many aspects of the dental profession.   He has served as Site Visitor for the Commission on Dental Accreditation for AGD, GPRS, and Dental Schools.  He served as the General Practice Director at the Veterans Administration Hospital for 15yrs. He also served as an Off Campus Education Coordinator for the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.  He has been a representative for the National House of Delegates for the Academy of General Dentists. He has served as a Board member and Education Committee member for the Pennsylvania Academy of General Dentistry.

He is also passionate about giving back to the community.  He has donated countless hours in both administrative and in direct patient care as volunteer to the Mission of Mercy Pennsylvania and Mission of Mercy Pittsburgh resulting in millions of free dental care provided by both organizations.
