Dr. Christopher Mucci earned his BS degree from Delaware Valley University in Doylestown, Pennsylvania in 1988. He then accepted a position as a Research Biologist a Merck Research Laboratories in West Point, Pennsylvania for the following 7 years. He then chose to advance his education and graduated with his DMD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1999.
Since graduation, Dr. Mucci has worked in private practice as a general dentist and practice owner. He joined the faculty at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2009 where he serves as Clinical Instructor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Comprehensive Care. Dr. Mucci also is an adjunct faculty member and on the advisory board for the Westmoreland County Community College Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting Programs.
In his free time, Dr. Mucci enjoys spending time with family and friend, fly fishing, playing bocce, cooking, making homemade wine and soppressata, travel and art.
