Ms. Folino Gallo serves as a clinical instructor and course director of Dental Anatomy and Dental Materials in the Dental Hygiene Program. She earned a certificate in Dental Hygiene in 1987 and a BS in Health Services in 1998 from the University of Pittsburgh. In 2007, she earned her MBA from Waynesburg University, with a concentration in marketing.
From 1994 through 1998, she has served as a research hygienist within the Department of Dental Public Health on locally funded projects focusing on Geriatric and Dental Fears issues, and served as the coordinator for the Implantology Program at its inception in 1997. In 2009, she was selected to participate in the Local Anesthesia For the Dental Hygienist, Train-the-Trainer course, provided for faculty members throughout the state.
Ms. Folino Gallo has provided supportive clinical and didactic instruction in continuing education courses at the School of Dental Medicine. She currently serves as a member of the School of Dental Medicine's Advisory Committee.
