Paulette Dietz is a full time instructor in the Pitt School of Dental Medicine Dental Hygiene Program. Paulette is the course director of the Ethics for the Health Care Professional course and also serves as a clinical and lab instructor. She also provides instruction to students in the School of Dental Medicine's Dental Assisting Apprenticeship Program.
Paulette is a 2022 graduate of the Pitt School of Dental Medicine Dental Hygiene Program. After graduation, Ms. Dietz continued her education at Pitt by pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene with a concentration in Education and graduated in 2023. She is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Pittsburgh. Paulette has 7 years of dental assisting experience in private practice and 6 years experience as a dental specialist in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard.
She serves on the Steering Committee for the University Dental Health Services and the Alumni Board for the School of Dental Medicine. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA), Pennsylvania Dental Hygienists' Association (PDHA), and the American Dental Education Association (ADEA).
