Kayla Addink is a full-time faculty member in the Pitt Dental Medicine Dental Hygiene Program. Kayla received a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from West Liberty University in 2020 and went on to earn her Masters degree in Dental Hygiene from West Liberty in 2024. From 2020-2024, she was employed as a dental hygienist in private general dental practices in Pittsburgh. Ms. Addink became an instructor in the University of Pittsburgh Dental Hygiene Program in 2024. She is currently course director for the Introduction to Dentistry and Dental Health Education, Methods and Practicum courses.
She continues to serve as a member of the Dental Hygiene Progress Committee and as a dental hygienist in the University Dental Health Services (UDHS). She also holds memberships in the American Dental Hygiene Association (ADHA) and the Pennsylvania Dental Hygiene Association (PDHA).
