Dr. Katherine Roll is a board-certified specialist in Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery, renowned for her expertise in full-mouth rehabilitation and interdisciplinary patient care.

A Pittsburgh native, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Cornell University before obtaining a Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Rutgers University. She then completed a highly competitive residency in Periodontal Plastic and Dental Implant Surgery at the University of Washington, one of the nation’s top specialty programs.

Dr. Roll has lectured at national and international dental conferences, including the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) and the Academy of Osseointegration (AO). Her contributions to the field have earned her numerous accolades, including the Balint Orban Memorial Award from the AAP for her research on dental implants in Type II diabetics, the Best Oral Clinical Research Presentation Award from the AO, and recognition by her peers as a Top Periodontist in Pittsburgh.

Passionate about education and innovation, Dr. Roll is an accredited continuing education provider and leads seminars and courses through her study club, helping dental professionals expand their expertise and enhance patient care. She is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration (where she serves on the research committee), the American Dental Association, and the Seattle Study Club.
