Jenna Pollock is a full-time faculty member in the Pitt Dental Medicine Dental Hygiene Program. Jenna received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Promotion and a minor in Nutrition from Appalachian State University in 2013. In 2019, she received her Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. After graduation, she was employed as a dental hygienist in a private general dental practice in Pittsburgh and then as a staff hygienist in the School of Dental Medicine’s University Dental Health Services. Ms. Pollock returned to the Dental Hygiene Program as an instructor in 2023. She is currently course director for the Dental Materials and Public Health Dentistry courses.
She continues to serve as a member of the Dental Hygiene Curriculum Committee and as a dental hygienist in the University Dental Health Services (UDHS). She also holds memberships in the American Dental Hygiene Association (ADHA), Pennsylvania Dental Hygiene Association (PDHA), and the American Dental Education Association (ADEA).
