Dr. Jeffrey Borandi is a dentist anesthesiologist. He was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa., and received his DMD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Borandi completed a three-year certificate program in dental anesthesiology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in conjunction with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
During his residency, Dr. Borandi successfully completed more than 1,500 cases in general anesthesia in the areas of dentistry, general surgery, ENT surgery and obstetrics. A part of his training was devoted to a comprehensive rotation with the renowned UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Borandi currently serves as a part-time clinical assistant professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine Department of Anesthesiology. He is a member of the American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists (ASDA) and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology (ADSA). He is active in both and board certified by the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology (ADBA).
