Elizabeth Ban is a 2012 graduate of the Pitt Dental Medicine Dental Hygiene Program. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene with a concentration in research in 2014. Ms. Ban joined the faculty at Pitt Dental Medicine in the Dental Hygiene Program as a part time clinical instructor in 2015 and was appointed to a full time faculty position in 2019. During that time, she held the position of Senior Clinical Supervisor and course director of Seminar III, IV, and Advanced Clinical Dental Hygiene Practice as well as serving as Chair of the Dental Hygiene Program Admissions Committee and the 2nd year Clinical Evaluation Committee. Her current academic position in the program is part time clinical instructor.
Ms. Ban is a member of the American Dental Education Association (ADEA), the American Dental Hygiene Association (ADHA), and has experience in private practice as a dental assistant, surgical assistant, and dental hygienist.
