This weekend, 16 first-year and 30 third-year Pitt Dental Medicine students, under the supervision of Drs. Balakrishnan, Nigra, Parenti and Weber, and two dental hygiene students under the supervision of Ms. Adrien Roberts, volunteered at the Remote Area Medical Free Dental Clinic at Sharon, Pa. Pitt students, together with five local dentists and hygienists, provided more than $200,000-worth of dental care to over 350 patients at this free dental clinic.
