Dr Zeynep Erdoğan-Yildirim joined the Center for Craniofacial and Dental Genetics as a postdoctoral research scholar in October 2022.
Her scientific interests encompass the genetics of complex traits, including craniofacial as well as women’s reproductive health related phenotypes. Her current work focuses on understanding the molecular and genetic underpinnings of orofacial clefts and craniosynostosis with specific interest to identifying genetic variation and gene-gene, gene-environment and gene-sex interactions underlying the development of these phenotypes.
