It is with great pleasure that Pitt Dental Medicine welcomes Dr. Patricia Corby, a periodontist and clinician scientist with expertise in biomedical informatics and microbial genetics, back to our School of Dental Medicine. She will hold a secondary appointment as professor of periodontics and preventive dentistry and an administrative role as senior advisor for clinical and translational research.

Nominate Alumni for the Distinguished Alumni of the Year Award
Do you know a Pitt Dental Medicine alumnus/alumna who is making an amazing impact in the field of dental medicine? Nominate a colleague or classmate for the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine Distinguished Alumni of the Year Award by Oct. 31, 2023. Self-nominations are also welcome. The awards will be presented on April 19, 2024.
The nominee must be a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. This includes all dental medicine, dental hygiene and advanced education graduates.
Healthy Smiles at Pitt Dental Medicine
The School of Dental Medicine has a long history of supporting the community and the brand-new Healthy Smiles fund is another example of this civic commitment.
