10. Disposal Policy
10.1 Any defective or discharged EPHI storage device and media including hard disks, floppy disks, CDs, DVD's, memory keys, zip drives and tapes must be erased completely or physically destroyed.
10.2 Using a CD shredder to destroy non-working CDs, DVD's and other optical storage media is required.
10.3 Using a professional degausser to erase all data on non-working hard disks, floppy disks, memory keys, tapes and other magnetic storage devices is strongly recommended. Other physical destroy methods are acceptable.
