Professional level position serves as the clinical director for the Dental Center. The General Dentist is responsible for diagnosing and treating diseases, injuries and malformations of teeth and gums and related oral structures. The general dentist may also treat diseases of the nerve, pulp, or other dental tissues affecting vitality of teeth. The dentist provides daily direction and supervision of all clinical staff, ensures the highest standards of dental/medical care is provided to patients. The incumbent ensures the safety and professional operation of the dental center and, in cooperation with the business manager and headquarters, ensures all necessary OSHA and HIPPA training is current. This includes ongoing compliance with all relevant laws.

Successful completion of all board examinations and current license to practice in PA.
DEA Certificate for prescribing and dispensing all levels of medication including schedule 2, 2N,3, 3N, 4 and 5 level narcotics and a Nitrous Oxide Certification.
