Atlantic Dental is currently looking for an associate dentist with the potential for partnership in a practice that has been on the Eastern Shore of Maryland for over 40 years. Atlantic Dental's patient base includes Ocean City and surrounding areas, as well as patients from Lewes, DE, to Chincoteague, VA.
Our practice is fully digital and mostly paperless. Our facility is located on the water in West Ocean City and has 10 fully equipped operatories, most of which have a water view. The practice focuses on cosmetic and family dentistry, with most cases being crowns, bridges, and implant restoration treatments. Responsibilities:
- Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Provide comprehensive dental care for patients of all ages
- Utilize SoftDent software to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other dental professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique in all procedures
- Monitor vital signs of patients during dental procedures
- Ensure compliance with medical coding and billing regulations
