Undergraduate, graduate, and professional Students of Color are invited to come together to celebrate their achievements at The Gathering! Sherdina Harper, the Assistant Director of B.I.P.O.C. and LGBTQIA Student Engagement, is helping organize this amazing event, with the aim to create a more inclusive, supportive, and educational environment where Students of Color feel seen, heard, and valued.

Celebrating South Asian Culture: A Night of Soap Carving and Henna Artistry with the South Asian Student Society
The South Asian Student Society recently hosted an event that intertwined soap carving with the intricate beauty of henna application. Pre-dental students gathered to carve soap into stunning designs, from flowers to elephants and even teeth, showcasing their creativity with wax instruments. Using henna, they adorned napkins and the palm of a hand with swirling patterns.
Through fun workshops, cultural showcases, and more, the South Asian Student Society continues to foster appreciation and unity among all members of the community. Keep a lookout for more fun events in the summer!
Smile with PRIDE
On February 26th Smile with PRIDE co-presidents, Kevin and V, joined Queer Pharmacy Alliance to present about common oral manifestations of HIV/AIDS, treatment options, and the importance of interprofessional communication in improving patient care to 10 Pharmacy students. Cheers to more collaboration between Pitt Dental Medicine and Pharmacy!
