The American Dental Association (ADA) 10 Under 10 Award recognized America’s brightest new dentists at the ADA Elevate leadership conference in March. Joining nine other awardees was 2025 10 Under 10 Award recipient Craig McKenzie, DMD, MSEd, Pitt Dental Medicine Assistant Professor in the Department of Dental Anesthesiology and the Director of the Center for Patients with Special Needs.

Developed by the ADA New Dentist Committee in 2017, this award recognizes 10 amazing dentists who graduated from a CODA-accredited dental school fewer than 10 years ago. The award celebrates dentists who demonstrate excellence and inspire others in science, research and education, practice excellence, philanthropy, leadership, and advocacy.
