The research focus of Seth Weinberg, PhD, Pitt Dental Medicine professor and and NIH-funded investigator, was featured in the the January 2025 issue of NIH News in Health, the newsletter of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The article, entitled “About Faces: The Biology of Face and Head Formation”, highlighted the work of Dr. Weinberg and colleagues in studying genes that affect the development of the face and head, and its further application in studying craniofacial disorders.
