This year’s Pitt Dental Medicine 11th Annual Pre-AADR and Student Research Competition was held virtually in two phases. Students shared their pre-recorded presentations in phase 1, and participated in a live Zoom Q&A session in phase 2.
Dr. Alexandre R. Vieira serves as the Director of Student Research and supported a panel of students and faculty to serve as judges to help select the student winners. The panel was chaired by Ariana Kelly (DMD Class of 2021). Members of the panel were Drs. Adriana Modesto, John Burnheimer and Joanne Prasad. ASDA officials Stephanie Cisek, Katherine Glickman and Matthew Palmer (all members of the Class of 2023) served as judges to select the ASDA sponsored-award.
